  • Why should I buy from Hypoallergenic Collection?
    My entire collection is made from hypoallergenic parts/materials and handmade from scratch. This means they can be safely worn or gifted without having to worry about allergies or sensitivities. The best part is they can be made kids safe too ;) We also offer customisation services to bring your ideas to life, help recreate your favorite pieces at a much lower cost and convert your non-hypoallergernic pieces to become hypoallergenic. We have a clip on collection for those who have no ear holes to spread the joy of jeweling up too! My personal experience with a kid with multiple allergies and sensitivities made me comb the internet, trial and test numerous kids and allergy friendly designs and accessories before i got fed up as the ones in the market were either not hypoallergenic (even when they claimed to be as such) or tarnished/faded/scratched fast. So with my chemistry knowledge, i went onto understand safe metals and designs that will deter reactions to metals or accessories and won't tarnish or fade or corrode fast. To share my joy, i started this line so that more can benefit from the knowledge and skills i picked up over the last five years and style up their way, pain-free.
  • Where are you based in?
    We are based in sunny island, Singapore
  • Do you have a physical store?
    We do not have a physical retail storefront, as we work from our home studio ;)
  • Who makes the accessories?
    We are blessed to have an in-house, local designer who helps us to come up with new designs and work on customised requests.
  • Can you convert my jewelry to become hypoallergenic or repair my accessory?
    Sure, why not! Please email us with pictures of the jewellery, detailed description of the problem and your contact number. We will share proposed changes and cost estimate. Once mutually agreed on the design and cost, you can post over the product to a specific address we will share privately. Any items left with us after we notify you of completion and not collected after a 12 month period will become property of Hypoallergenic Collection.
  • Can you custom make a jewellery for me?
    Yes, we will love to! Please email us to discuss any variations or special requests such as design, choice of material, type of hook etc etc. This service will incur additional charges. We can sometimes remodel your jewellery into bespoke items however any items left with us after we notify you of completion and not collected after a 12 month period will become property of Hypoallergenic Collection.
  • Can you propose matching accessories for an outfit I have?
    Yes, we will love to! Just email us a picture of you wearing the outfit and we will love to take up the challenge to propose suitable designs that will match the outfit, your body type and face shape. If you like it, we can make it and post it over.
  • Do you offer gift wrapping services?
    Yes, we do! For an additional fee of $3, we will wrap it in a pillow shaped gift box and pen your well wishes in the acoompanying gift card too ;)
  • What metals/materials do you use for the jewellery?
    We use a wide range of hypoallergenic metals, including 304/316 surgical stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, plastic, platinum, wood and silicon. We avoid materials that causes a reaction or tarnishes easily such as brass, copper, sterling silver, etc. Most of our jewellery are made of food grade or surgical stainless steel in polished or gold-plated form, unless otherwise stated. They are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.
  • Will the jewellery tarnish or fade or corrode?
    Nope, they should not. We have carefully handpicked every single part of the accessory to be non-tarnishing, non-fading or non-corroding. However minimizing exposure to lotions, perfumes, sweat, and water, as well as cleaning your jewelry after every wear, will help protect the metal finish.
  • Does the metal used for your jewellery contain Nickel?
    We have wide range of accessories in many metals and non-metals. Those who are very sensitive to Nickel can opt for metals/materials other than stainless steel (eg. Titanium, Aluminium, Plastic, etc) as it contains a small percentage of Nickel. The materials used for each design will be indicated on each product page. Alternatively just drop us an email and we will be happy to propose suitable designs depending on what you wish to get.
  • Do the jewellery come with warranty?
    All new jewelry has a seven-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects when purchased from Hypoallergenic Collection. Breakage due to improper handling and changes in finishes due to wear and tear are not covered under warranty. However, we will do our best to repair your item at a nominal fee. Rest assured, we stand by our product 100% and will do everything humanly possible so you can wear your jewelry again! Please contact us for additional information. We want to help ;)
  • How long does it take to receive my order?
    Most items are already in stock and we wil try to send them out within 1- 3 working days. nternational shipping takes 5-15 working days, depending on the delivery provider chosen. However please refer to delivery times listed on each individual item as this could vary. Items made to order will be assessed and time scale quoted individually. If an item is not in stock or there will be any delay we will notify you via email in the first instance.
  • When can I receive my order earliest?
    If you can confirm your order by 10am, my designer will try to expedite and post out your order using a A.M. Mail ($2.90) envelope. Earliest you will receive is by 11am the next day. For those opting for Normal post ($1.80) or Smartpac ($3.80), do note that delivery time can take up to two weeks, based on experience.
  • I need the item urgently. Can you expedite my order?
    Yes, we will love to work with you on that, if we have stock on hand and designer is available. Please contact us at hypoallergeniccollection@gmail.com to check if we are able to accede to your request.
  • Can I amend my order after I have placed it?
    We will attempt to accommodate order changes prior to shipping confirmation however we will not be able to cancel an order once payment is confirmed. Some changes may result in shipping delays. We are unable to accommodate changes or cancellations on special order requests and/or orders that have already been shipped. If you would like to change an order, do send us an email to hypoallergeniccollection@gmail.com
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    For local customers in Singapore, we accept: 1) Paylah! or Paynow; 2) Interbank Transfer; and 3) Paypal Once you have made the payment, you can email us or FB msg us a screenshot of the payment transfer and order number so that we can proceed to make your order. For customers overseas, we accept Paypal only.
  • Can I pay Cash-On-delivery?
    We seek your kind understanding as we prefer upfront payment before we proceed to process your order. We appreciate you respecting our stance in this matter.
  • What can I do if the payment for my order is declined?
    1) Check the card details on your PayPal account to make sure the information is correct, e.g. the expiry date, card type or your billing address. 2) Make sure you enter the security code correctly - that's the three digit number on the back of your card. 3) Your card issuer may have declined your payment - as they do not tell us the reason for this, it is best to check with them. 4) If you have checked all of the above, try paying with another card. If you have tried all these and are still having problems, contact us and provide us with as many details as you can about the issue - including any error messages you receive and we'll try to resolve it as soon as we can.
  • Why pay with PayPal?
    1) It's safer: shop at thousands of websites without sharing your financial details. 2) It's faster: with no need to type in your card details, you can check out in a few clicks. 3) It's easier: all you need is an email address and password to pay online. It takes minutes to open a PayPal account and it's free.
  • How will I know if my order has been shipped?
    As soon as your order leaves our home studio, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number (if available) either via FB or Email.
  • I put the wrong shipping address or made a mistake on my order. Can you change it?
    If you receive an order confirmation email and notice a mistake with the order, please call us at +65 90089570. If it’s after business hours, leave us a clear and detailed message with your name, phone number, and your order number (if available).
  • Will you provide tracking number if we opted for Smartpac?
    If you had opted for Smartpac, we will provide you with the tracking number and picture of package before we proceed to post your parcel out.
  • Do you ship overseas?
    We are happy to share that we ship to most of the countries around the world. Orders can be placed from abroad and you can place your order in the normal way. They will be sent via Singpost AirMail. If you require any other delivery method please contact us and charges will be assessed individually. Delivery times will vary on destination and dictated by delivery company. We accept no liability for when delivery company fails to deliver but will do our utmost to trace all parcels we send.
  • How can I return or exchange a product that was bought from you?
    If you are not happy with your goods that were purchased online, and you are in Singapore, please return them to us within 7 days. We will be happy to exchange or refund, providing the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Regrettably, items custom made to your requirements cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are defective or faulty. On receipt of the returned goods we will give you a refund of the amount paid for the goods. We do not refund the original delivery charge unless the goods are faulty or have been incorrectly supplied. This policy is for internet purchases only. We only accept customer returns via post at a specified address which we will provide you over email when requested.
  • I ordered the wrong size. Can I do an exchange?
    We understand that sometimes it might get a little tricky getting the sizes right, especially if it's for a gift. We are happy to share that we offer a free 1-time resizing option.
  • What should I do if I received a damaged product?
    If a package or item delivered to you arrives damaged, please email us at hypoallergeniccollection@gmail.com so that we may note your return and advice accordingly. Do retain all relevant packaging materials together with the product in its original condition. Claims for damaged or missing items should be reported within 1 working day upon the receipt of your order. We will send you an email as soon as we have received your return in its original condition. Returns can take up to 10 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to arrive. Once received, we will examine and advise you on your right to a replacement or refund via email or a call within 5 business days. In the event the product returned is not damaged, we may at our discretion decide not to replace, repair or refund you for the product and/or require you to pay all reasonable delivery and servicing costs.
  • Any items non-refundable and exchangeable?
    Special orders and customised jewellery are final sale and are not eligible for return and exchange.
  • Can I wear my jewellery 24/7?
    Yes, you can if they are made with stainless steel. 316 Surgical Stainless Steel is even corrosion resistent and thus doesn't get tarnished by sweat or swimming pool water ;)
  • How to maintain and store my jewellery?
    Although stainless steel jewelry doesn’t tarnish or corrode and doesn’t require special care, as advised for any jewellery in general, we will still propose that you avoid hairspray and perfume near your jewelry so that it will be keeps for life. It will be ideal if you could store your stainless steel pieces separately from jewelry made of other metals. Store your jewelry away from moist areas (bathroom), and preferably in individual bags, pouches, box or a zip lock bag. Another thing that helps to preserve the high-quality finish is to make the jewelry the last item you put on, and the first thing you take off when you get home.
  • How do I clean my stainless steel jewellery?
    Stainless steel jewelry is pretty easy to clean. Simply follow these steps: 1. Pour some warm water in a small bowl, and add some mild dishwashing soap. 2. Dip a soft, lint-free cloth in the soapy water, and then gently wipe the stainless steel jewelry with the damp cloth until the piece is clean. When cleaning it, rub the item along its polish lines. 3. Wipe the remaining soap off your jewelry using a moist cloth dipped in clean water. 4. Dry the jewelry well with a clean towel, and then leave your pieces to air dry. After your stainless steel jewelry is clean, you can use a jewelry polish or a polishing cloth to shine it. Some people use toothpaste to clean the especially dirty spots of their stainless steel pieces. Keep in mind, however, that toothpaste is abrasive. If you decide to use it for cleaning, make sure it is a non-whitening brand that does not contain silica, and use a soft cloth to rub the paste onto your pieces. Don’t forget to rinse the jewelry thoroughly after you are done. An alternative to these cleaning methods is to purchase a stainless steel cleaner from the store and follow the instructions on the package. You can also buy a regular jewelry cleaner whose label says that it can be used on stainless steel.
  • How do we take care and store pearl jewellery?
    As we use genuine, fresh water pearls, please gently wipe the pearl jewellery with a soft cloth to remove sweat, perfume, excess oils or dirt before putting them away. Pearls should be stored away from other objects or jewelry that may scratch their surfaces. Wrap the pearls in linen, soft cloth, or place in a soft pouch.
